We recently migrated to Oracle Repository(16.5 SP03) for maintaining Physical models, earlier the models were maintained in a Network folder.
Example models -
Model1.PDM(Parent Model)
Model2.PDM(Child Model)
Few shortcuts were added from Parent Model to child Model and parent model was listed as a "Target Model" in child model.
When the models were in Network folder we didn't face any issues with the "target models",
after migration the "target models" of child model is still pointing to old network drive location and when we checked out child model from repo the shortcuts went blank. To fix this we checked out the parent model and changed the "target model" location of the child model to a local folder and the details in shortcuts were displayed.
Few Questions i have are -
Can we point the Parent Model in repository as target model?so that when we check out the child model and parent model at the same time?
If Yes, How to do it?
If no what is the alternative?
