Can anyone throw some insight into where does this "set as default" button really save the various settings that you have selected within the Metaclasses, Attributes and Collections sections of the window ?
What I have noticed is that once I selected what options I wanted, hit OK to do the merge and then went back into a new merge, I saw some additional check boxes in Metaclasess such as Extended Attribute, Extension and User selected, that I had not selected originally.
It would have been nice if PD allowed these settings to be saved externally outside of either the source or target data models being merged, into an XML file and then have an ability to open that XML file from this comparision options window. Erwin has such a functionality and I miss it. It makes it easier to re-use these settings across the team or even by the same individual, rather than wasting time doing it each time when comparing similar types of models for similar types of things.
